VIDEO SUBMISSION:
Each paper can be accompanied by a video (max. 10MB), with the aim to better describe the main achievement of the work presented in the submitted paper. A video is the most informative mean to convey the messages related to experimental results in robotics and biomechatronics and can really improve the impact of an oral presentation at a robotics conference. Only the following media formats are supported: .mpeg, .mpg end .mp4.
All video contributions will be included in the DVD conference proceedings, and also in IEEE Xplore as an enhanced object next to the paper. To facilitate this, in addition to the movie file, each video submission must be integrated (from the first submission, DEADLINE January 31 2012) with the following descriptive text files:
Summary.txt file (max 1 KB): Text in this file describes in 5 sentences or less the contents or value of the extended object (the video). This file helps IEEE Xplore users to make downloading decisions.
ReadMe.txt file (max 10 KB): This file must include the following sections:
Description: An overall description of what is shown in the video and what the audience can expect to gain by downloading them.
Player Information: Provide the minimum version of the player software that is required to play the submitted files. Include the name of the software, the version number, and any special requirements for the player.
Contact Information: The author should provide contact information in case users and reviewers have questions regarding the extended material. IEEE nor BioRob 2012 organization will not provide any technical support.
Note that both the above files should be in .txt format. They are needed by IEEE in order to include the video in IEEE Xplore.
After you have prepared the described material, you can submit the video attachement using the function enabled by PaperPlaza.
